We performed at LanFair Assisted Living Facility in Lancaster on Sunday.  This was our first concert since St. Patrick’s day after many many hours of playing Christmas music in March/April as we were working on the CD.  So it was good for our souls!!  It was a packed house of friends and family as well as the residents.  “Grandpa Mucky,” a long time friend of the family, and Laura’s grandma, live there.  Our music is our passion, and it’s always a thrill to get to share that with other people.  It is most rewarding to hear the residents sing along with us on favorites such as “I’ll Fly Away” and “Amazing Grace.”  We debuted “The Parting Glass” that day too - three part a capella.  It went well for a first performance!  We’ll be working that one in a lot this year.

We were the entertainment for the Fairfield Medical Center’s Volunteer Appreciation Banquet last night.  They were very gracious.  We had a fun time playing some of our favorites.  It was inspiring to be surrounded by so many caring and generous people.  SInging “Amazing Grace” with that crowd was very inspirational!
